Web Browser
In order to bid in a "Live Online" auction, you will require a modern web browser which supports the following technologies:
- Websockets
- Video and audio over WebRTC
Any modern smartphone or tablet device will work, as will any up to date version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox on a desktop or laptop computer. Unfortunately, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Micrososft Edge "Legacy" is not supported. For best results, we recommend using Google Chrome on desktop or laptop computers.
Network
Your network should be able to access:
- https://www.cityauctiongroup.com on port 443 (this is for the main web application).
- wss://www.cityauctiongroup.com on port 4431 (this is for the websocket driving real time bidding).
This is the service which is most likely being blocked by your network security if you are having difficulties connecting.
- https://cloud.liveswitch.io on port 443 (this is for the WebRTC video and audio feed).
If you are having problems accessing the sale, please make sure that your network / firewalls are not blocking any of these services.
