City Auction Group has strengthened its LCV management team with the appointment of Sam Magee, Head of LCV. He will lead the inaugural weekly sale programme every Thursday from the 28th March 2024 at 10.30am offering vehicles through the lane for the UK’s largest fleet, lease and corporate vendor partners to meet the demands of this growth sector.
Sam has over 17 years within the auction remarketing industry having worked previously for Manheim as a field base Group Auctioneer for seven years and prior to that as an Account Executive at BCA.
At Manheim Sam was responsible for servicing and hosting the auctions from the rostrums physically, to post pandemic digital auctions, and then the return to physical sales across the UK network.
While at BCA Sam enjoyed some great baseline experience from motorcycle account management and auctions at Peterborough to motor home and leisure sales at Measham.
In his new role at City Auction Group Sam will be taking the lead of the LCV sales and auction programme building on the foundations set by the City Auction Group team across the UK and Northern Ireland.
Sam stated “I am overjoyed to be joining such a fantastic and experienced team which has seen some key senior appointments in recent months. City Auction Group has experienced enormous growth during the last three years and is led by a dynamic senior management team Michael Tomalin and Darren Betteridge who have aspirations to build a market leading automotive defleet, logistics and remarketing solution to ultimately gain market share by way of customer service excellence.
